It takes a lot of hands to make a small community arts organization run! We have a friendly community of volunteers and a variety of tasks to be done. We also welcome working artists who are interested in sharing their skills through community workshops. Whether you specialize in painting, ceramics, printmaking, or another medium, we’re always looking to expand our offerings and connect artists with learners.

How would you like to help?

Social Media Whiz

Take photos and videos at AfA events for our marketing maven. Make content as well if you have a knack for social media, reels etc.

Handy Human

Are you good with a hammer and a drill? We would like to have a couple of people on a call list to assist with small construction projects, either for the studio or a public art project.

Poster Distribution

We need people we can call on when we have posters to distribute to posting locations in West Concord.

Workshop Facilitation & Assistance

Do you love teaching art or crafting to groups of people? We’d love to chat with you about leading or assisting some of the workshops we host at AfA. Time commitment is typically 3 hrs per event

Backstage

Join us for our Backstage sessions when we prepare materials for workshops and projects, and maintain the studio.

Making Greeting Cards

We are always on the lookout for art makers who enjoy making greeting cards. They can be done at the studio during Co-Crafting and Art with a Purpose, or take materials home to work on.
